Want to go into police force, but have mild asthma, is this possible?!?

I am physically fit and would love to be a police officer, im just hoping theyll take me! i also have slight short sighntess in one eye but i asked my optician n he said that was fine. Just want the application process to go smoothly lol and dont want to get my hope up if mild asthma will stop me. Thankssss guys
