Do you or anyone you know, sit in a recliner all day and all night too? Why?

I know of a few people who do that. One has mental problems and never leaves the house, hasn't in over 8 years. Another one had breathing problems but did get up to go around and drove his car. So yes , people find it very comfortable or comforting.
