I could use a mothers opinion on the situation (one with teenagers or grown children preferably)?

so i'm an 18 yr old girl going to community collage and living at home until i transfer in a few more semesters. i have a 23 yr old boyfriend that my mom doesn’t know very well. he and i don’t spend a lot of time at my parents house because i'm an only child and the home is sort of formal as far as the atmosphere goes and the floor plan is rather open. basically all i'm trying to say is it's AWKWARD! i have only been dating roughly one year (not this guy but total dating in general) and i'm not at all promiscuous. i'm actually very religious (not ignorantly so either, i've actually taken time to yze things and draw my own conclusions) and firmly believe in not having before marriage. and all the convincing arguments that horny guys and my own hormones present can not persuade me to have . anyway, i've proven myself trust worthy over the years so does it seem unreasonable to want to spend a weekend in another city (we live in austin so probably san antonio or galveston)....
