I am sorry to have to tell you this, but you have to do what your parents tell you to do as long as you live with them. As for the need to have a boyfriend to marry, that is not true. You can get to know a man with a chaperone present. Dating before marriage leads to divorce and unhappiness too. There is no perfect system to anything in life.
